At the beginning of March, Kris Krupecki, a sales director and banker, joined the Ampere London office. We are delighted to welcome our new specialist and share some facts about him with you!

What are your roles and responsibilities at Ampere?

I focus on growing the business and am responsible for the UK operations. Whether it means building partnerships with other companies, working with regulators and authorities or business development in general, it is all within my job description. I am also responsible for building and developing the team here in the UK as well as making sure we deliver exceptional results on all fronts.

Kris, how would you describe your own experience?

I’m a specialist with over 13 years of experience in leadership roles in the financial services sector. I have built exceptional sales teams of up to 150 people and driven significant revenue streams wherever I’ve worked, consistently exceeding my sales targets and growing a loyal customer base of B2B and B2C customers.

What do you enjoy most about your work?

I enjoy growing businesses, but I also continue to enjoy being a hands-on salesman, as a true leader should fully understand the market and client base his team is working with daily.

What is your most significant success?

It is a challenging question to answer. Throughout my career, I have experienced both ups and downs. Regardless of whether I was on the top or at my very bottom, building and maintaining relationships with people is crucial. Nothing has made me feel more proud and fulfilled than hearing words of recognition from people I have worked with and led. Especially when they came sometime after our paths took a different direction. I sincerely believe that ability to create a team is one of the key ingredients in leading the business to success.

Kris, what do you think has led you to success in your work?

Most importantly, my achievements have been underpinned by hiring the right people. I’m proud of the mentoring and coaching I’ve delivered to develop many outstanding professionals and teams during my career.

Where did your experience lead you?

My success in sales has led me to take on additional responsibility for other business operations. I’m adept at working at the executive level and with finance, legal, compliance and product development, often bringing a commercial understanding to otherwise theoretical discussions.

What do you expect from work in Ampere, and how does it come true?

Ampere is a great place to be right now. The team is amazing, the vision is great, the mission is meaningful, and the company culture is amazing! Massive challenges are ahead of us, which drives and motivates me. No two days are the same. We have clearly set goals, and as a whole team, we work every day to the best of our abilities to achieve them.

Ampere will become a major player in the NeoBanking and Financial Services space. My ambition is to not only be a part of its success but rather play an essential role in it.
